Stacy Brinkley, NP
Stacy Brinkley, NP, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000 and her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia in 2010, with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner and Community and Public Health Leadership. Stacy is credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family nurse practitioner. She maintains privileges at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
As a nurse, Stacy worked in medical-surgical and step-down unit settings at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. Before joining James River Cardiology, she was a nurse practitioner in family practice and long-term care settings. Her experiences in medical missions in Peru helped strengthen her interest in providing care and promoting health in medically underserved areas.
Stacy is a native of Suffolk, Virginia, and resides in Surry, Virginia. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. Outside work, she enjoys tending to her flower beds, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
